After a day in Levin where we cleaned up McKelve’s commemorative garden it was once again time to say goodbye. It was harder this time as we knew we wouldn’t come back 😢. But at least Mr Poop would join us from now on.

Marc knew an Irish fruit farmer near Napier where we possibly could stay. Well, we chanced it and ended up pitching our tent in the garden of a 500 acre plantation. And the best: the boys had a pool! The owners: John, an 81 year old former Irish rugby player, who scored three points to beat the English for the first time in ten years 11:8 in 1961, and his darling wife Chris Moffett. We enjoyed it here so much that we spontaneously decided to stay for three nights.
