We left the campsite quite early and strolled through Raglan. It’s a quirky little town with beautiful shops and art everywhere. “Only looking, not buying” I had to tell myself a few times, but the prices were ridiculously high.

Then we hit the road again, and we hit it hard and long. By the time we got to our campsite in Pakiri we were exhausted, sweaty and annoyed. While Bill and the boys checked out the beach I set up the tent and the car for the night just to get a break of the others. When they came back our moods had lifted. What a lovely spot and hardly any other guests.
