No taxi this time. We decide to take public transport. Our destination: Tofo again. This means we have to take a Chapa (=minibus) to Maxixe, four hours. Luckily the vehicle is just about to leave but that also means that Bill has to sit between two seats. Nothing to lean against and a gap through the middle. Finn’s so squashed and his knees so bent that he keeps getting cramps. Anik has his neighbours backpack on his legs and I keep on banging my head on the roof. But as already mentioned, it’s just for four hours. In Maxixe we stop for lunch and use the opportunity to buy the yummy coconut cakes we had tried before. A Spanish / Swedish couple joins us. They are happy to have found someone who knows where to go and how much to pay. We catch the boat again to Inhambane, walk through town with all our luggage and then a stuffed Chapa to Tofo. But this time I sit on the front seat! Unfortunately our blue house is occupied so we have a new place. Right next to the lagoon and on the same street as our blue house.
