It’s sooo cold! Luckily we have some embers left in the yesterday’s fire. But slowly but surely the sun spreads out its warmth. We pack up, organize a new number plate as we lost one the day before. It takes 15 minutes and costs 10 Euro. That’s easy! Hope we have no more problems with the car from now on. Five hours it takes us to get to Maun. We pass many donkeys, cows, goats and horses. People, especially kids wave from the side of the road, now and then someone wants a lift, but unfortunately we are full. Coming into Maun brings back memories although the town has got so much bigger over the last 20 years. At our campsite ‘Audi Camp’ I meet Richard, with whom I partied 21 years ago. He now runs the campsite with his mum…
We stay here and relax for one day. I feel sick and weak so I can’t enjoy our small trip into town. But the next day I’m fine again.
