What a busy, noisy, dusty city! Cars and motorbikes everywhere. But lovely people, temples and little shops.
Kathmandu
These first days we took it easy – as far as that was possible in this city. Home-schooling in the mornings and little exploring in the afternoons.
Day one: We visited the Monkey temple with its big Stupa
Day two: Visited Durbar Square with it’s temples and we even got to see the 4 year old living goddess Kumari Devi
Day three: We had a great opportunity to visit a Nepalese school. The boys attended some lessons in their age group and Bill and I gave a lesson to the elder ones.
